    Whatever happened to balanced journalism?

I read this and not only is it very old, it is also one-sided and confusingly inaccurate. The Bendigo Addy has an annoying habit of rehashing old stories to appear as new news. Maybe they were referring to this article.

I would advise anyone who is easily scared and influenced by negative, innacurate and self-motivated media, to do their research. Perhaps read this article which if nothing is at least a little less one-sided.

Consumers, these days, rely too much on the media and media opinion without realising that these commercial enterprises have commercial concerns and will disseminate whatever the hell they think will generate money with increasingly little thought for truth and integrity.

Do your research. Use Google and not the media, especially not local rags like The Addy, who while excellent for local news, views and swimming pool opening times, aren’t equipped to cope with real news and information.

Lesley, thanks for your response. Unfortunately it seems to be the way these days. If the media get something they believe is a hot story, they run with it regardless. It is also true that this article is one-sided. I have no idea what happened to balanced journalism but it rarely manifests in Australia, particularly at a local level.

Artificial grass used to have a woeful reputation with regards lead content and over-heating but fortunately, things have moved on significantly in the past ten years. Hopefully, potential new customers will have done enough recent research to understand that our products (if not all in Australia) are lead free. In fact, our products contain no discernible traces of any element which might potentially cause harm.

Don’t take our word for it, see what The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) have to say about our turf.
